Default Help with black text on black background

I have the default black backgrounds for dialog boxes and menus. Then I have the default white font for dialog boxes, buttons and menus. For list, I have the default black font selected as this affects the messages.

Now, when I open QuickLaunch nad Sound Profiles, I get black font on a black background. Where are these getting their colors? How can I get the font white? What am I missing?

    Thanks.

you must have changed something under the "List" option; either font, font color, font size or cursor color...

I've found that if you change ANYTHING under "List" it messes up the background for Profiles..

And it seems that you cannot just go back and select "default" to change it back.. once it's changed, it seems to be changed for good.

I don't even mess with changing any of the LIST options..

Yeah, this was trial and error.. going to each item under the Theme the Controls area to see just which of these affected this background..

it seems that you can change/edit every other control but once you change anything under "LIST" it buggers it all up...

If I change anything under list accidently, I have found, personally, that resetting to default every setting under LIST will fix the problem...I dont know why it wouldnt.

    Goodluck!

It worked! I went into an existing theme, reset eveything under list, saved, reinsalled, and I have my white text back. Woo hoo! Thanks guys.

Now I just have 4 to 8 versions of three different themes to update....
