Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if there is any way to change the date format in my Homescreen Banner.

Right now, on my Storm 2, the date is displayed in a very long format... "Wednesday, November 4". I'd really like to change that, to free up more room on the banner, and just have it say "Nov 4", or maybe 11/04/09.

Any way to do that?

if there is not an option in the blackberry itself (which on the older ones I don't think there is) it can't be done. You will probably have to check in your options and fiddle around in there

The 'long date' format is standard for all OS 4.6+ devices (excluding Pearl/85xx/8350i devices). This is mainly due to the higher screen resolution found on Storm/Bold/8900/Tour devices. To my knowledge there is no way to change the date back to an abbreviated form (e.g. WED, NOV 4) with these devices. You get use to it... *shrugs*
