I'm guessing it was done as an animation like the clock example.

yeah its def. not an animation. as it wouldnt be able to keep up with the time.
its pretty dumb that the max font size is 50. but whatever.
im gonna see about creating my own font. maybe that way i cant do it as i want with shadows and ect. ill let you guys know how that works. - 12-03-2009, 03:44 PM #7

if you insist on it being a regular clock with font, you will probably have to create the font. Just remember to make all of the letters blank (note there is no am/pm like there should be) and also no periods or colons. You can make it super sized and still only use a font size that TB allows.

How do you add your own font to theme builder?

Theme builder will pull whatever valid fonts are on the Windows machine.

actually, this project could POSSIBLY be done with svg animation. svg does contain the ability to reference time both relative and real world (i've used relative timing to auto-hide a dock). despite this, there would still be the issues of building all of the objects and typing the couple thousand lines of code. i highly doubt anyone here is bored enough to do that.

Hey fellas, I've made a few HTC-type themes:
Wootability Blackberry Storm Themes
Wootability Blackberry Storm Themes
I actually had to download font editing software and create my own font. It's the only way to get a font large enough to rival that of the HTC phones. And I know guzzl3r did the same for hers.Come check out my Website with all of my Storm and S2 themes!

It's not very user-friendly though.Come check out my Website with all of my Storm and S2 themes!

You think there is a way of taking the clock file from a os and in cooperate it in a theme so you can colorize it and build walls around it? Meaning make it part of your svg for the home screen
