anyone resize precision 5.0 icons for 48 x 36?

Anyone resize the 5.0 precision icons for 48 x 36 curve devices? I tried several times using Gimp and failed miserably. Looking for phone receiver icons, sms, etc. Thanks a bunch.

They should be in the samples section of the theme builder files. If you can't find them, send me a pm and I'll get them for you.

I tried those icons, but they get blurry when I use them on the 8330. I was hoping someone would be willing to post them if they already resized them. Gimp and me don't get a long too well.... thanks a bunch.

Any time you try to increase the size of a small, low-res icon, you're going to get blurring.

You might try paint.net, which is one of the best free image editors. Paint.NET - Free Software for Digital Photo Editing

Here they are from the Bold. They should be pretty similar. I have not found the 5.0 icons resized like this.

I uploaded them to Sharebee, which distributes the .zip file to a bunch of different sites to download it from.

Appreciate it. I was looking for the new sms icon and the phone receiver icons from the new style for 48x36 screens. However, these icons look good on the bb.

also I'm not sure on the CUrve but for Tour the icons are square 80x80. if you try to put a rectangle into the icons it will stretch them to make them square.

you'll have to resize the canvas/clear background, and leave the image the same.

if that didnt make sense disregard.. sorry for the confusion.

If you need anything else resized, like the battery or anything like that, use the images in the precision 320x240 folder.

Those help. I can't seem to find the bold style Phone-icons for 8330 curve and when I try to resize, it gets fuzzy and not the right height. I tried several times.

Should probably explain that I'm looking for the icons for the phone hot list section of theme building. The icons identifying call, missed, received etc..

Again, use the icons that are in the Precision 320x240 Folder that is found in c:/program files/research in motion folder... look in there.

to resize sqaure icons for the 8300 you have to resize them to 48x36 and also use a focus icon background for 48x36 as well if you use a square background it will look fuzzy

You DO NOT resize the IMAGE to 48x36. You need to resize the CANVAS 48x36 and then resize the icons to fit in there. You will probably have to redo the square icons...

If you resize the image to 48x36, you will distort the image.

I've got all of the icons to resize correctly except for the phone icons. The dimension theme phone icons is 324x18, and the icons in the samples folder for 320x240 precision is 343x18, or 380x20 in 5.0. Can't seem to resize this one right.

Create a new canvas for 324x18. Open the image you want to resize, copy and paste it into the 324x18. Then resize the image in there..... Hopefully that makes sense.
