YouTube not working?

Anyone else unable to play YouTube? Videos won't load on my Tour in the browser.

Is this all videos, or just some? I noticed that one specific video wasn't working, and sure enough, I later discovered that it was because it had already been taken down. The rest of the videos I checked earlier today worked fine.

All videos. Still not working as of today. I pulled the battery and cleared the browser cache. Still no go.

I wonder if it has anything to do with my BES for work... are they (admins) able to lock out a service such as You Tube for certain periods (like say M-F 9-5?) I know they can restrict access to certain apps etc... but can it be switched on and off?

I can't get youtube to play 99% of the time lately. *sigh*

For the Pearl users, if you're not on OS4.5, it's not going to play.

For everyone, if the browser isn't set to BlackBerry it may not play. If it's on WiFi it may not play. If you click on the picture, it may not play.

The BES can block websites, so that may be the issue there.

Not sure which OS/devices this will work on, but here's a youtube app that can play within it's own media player:

You actually need it to either be in Hotspot (WiFI) browser for it to work on WiFi, or enable the "Switch to WAP browser for streaming media" option, elsewise it won't work in the default "Internet Browser" due to port blocking on BIS.

YouTube videos don't play directly in BOLT - and I just tested this to ensure I was correct - BOLT simply invokes the native BB browser. It does not handle media its self.

You either don't have Bolt beta, or your settings wrong.
