youtube & 9700

can anyone else confirm or deny that youtube using a blackberry 9700 connected to 3G is working or not working? or is it just me, i get wireless network connection has been disconnected. please try again error but it will work when connected to wifi
ive noticed this several times, is the telus network just flakey?

I have a Bell 9700, but I'm on Telus towers and it works fine for me.

Telus support via twitter tells me that this is a known issue with my Bold 9700 as of weeks ago with no ETA for resolution

I too am having the same issue. YouTube worked fine on my storm, but my 9700 has the same issue as you. I called Telus, they told me to download a youtube app. Same problem.

Telus then told me that "they only provide the internet, if something doesn't work,it's not their problem". I reminded them that they advertise their smartphones as being able to access youtube. They issues a ticket number over a week ago, but problem still hasn't been fixed. Youtube works fine on the phone when I'm on wifi, which tells me its a problem with their network settings.

Also, if I tether my computer to my phone, youtube works fine, its really weird.

I can only get youtube if I use the wap browser. For some reason the 9700 just doesn't like youtube. I've checked all the settings. No luck other than using wap browser.

it worked last night for me once. but today no go... i thought it was just me, i tried on my 9000 and it doesnt work, i think it is the hspa network more than anything because on my wifes 8330 it works fine. i can goto m.vuclips.com and videos work so i know its not my phone
