Winnipeg Telus sucks!

So I went to Telus and ask about the 9800 and they said we still don't have this network that we were suppose to have last year so we don't even have the Telus iphone or android phones.

I dont think Telus "sucks" because of that much of it is not their fault, if you want to blame someone blame the government in Manitoba and MTS.

I agree partially...however Telus has refused to build out their own Network in Manitoba. I have been a MB Telus customer for 10 years and in those 10 years Telus only built a CDMA network in WPG and have had to roam on MTS outside of WPG. Now MTS had agreements in place to only allow Telus Digital service outside WPG for the past 6 years...fair or not by MTS...but Telus has done nothing to improve the service. I tried to leave Telus and my BB account but they gave me unlimited data and calling for under $20/mth just to keep me happy.

10 Years is long enough, so Telus does kinda suck in Wpg and more so in MB!

Telus bought the airspace and didn't do anything with it. Their business plan is to basically leech off MTS. They have by far the worst network in Manitoba. That's no one's fault but their own. I fail to see how MTS or the Government of Manitoba has anything to do with this. MTS is a private company who built their own network and it's the Government of Canada that regulates cell networks.

I agree, can't blame anyone but Telus. I've been with Telus for over 10 years, the only reason I'm still with them is because I have Talk Winnipeg and I use it for my business. Their digital service has been suffering because everyone else keeps building towers around the city except for Telus and I end up paying when I roam to other carriers digital network. You can't blame MTS because atleast MTS is making the strive to give their customers what they want. MTS will be partnering up with Rogers to use Rogers towers for their GSM network. Their launch date is October 12, in just a couple of days. What's Telus doing?????
