Default What is Pocket Web Surf Business from telus?

I was looking at my plan on my telus account and saw that i have Pocket Web Surf Business on my plan, does anyone know what it is?

what exactly does that mean? cuz when i click on my web browser it says i need a data plan but i only have a bbm social plan but does that mean i can use apps on my phone without having a data plan and is that wat pocket web surf offers?

Does BBM work on your device?
If yes, you have BIS, which is good and everything should work.
I don't own a Telus device, nor do I live in Canada, but I my previous reply is what the Surf Business plan is.
I would call in, and question them about it because it seems like it shouldn't be there.

Just because the OP has BBM does not mean he has BIS. Some Canadian carriers offer "social plans" which generally only include BBM, Facebook, and IM, but not browsing. These plans are cheaper than full BIS plans.

You are correct, though, when you say the OP should call Telus and ask them exactly what his plan includes and does not include.
