    Default Unlocked Koodo 9300 Not Reading Telus SIM Card

    Hi,

    I have a Koodo Blackberry Curve (9300) which I recently unlocked, however it is not recognizing my Telus Sim Card (phone says "SOS" in the upper right hand corner). I can put a Bell Sim card into the phone and the phone will work. Does anyone have any suggestions/advice to help?

    Is the Telus sim card active as in it works with another phone or blackberry?

    Verify the esn is associated with that sim by calling Telus.

    But chances are you just need a new SIM card.

    did you MEP2 and MEP4 unlock it? my 9300 had both locks on it, despite the fact that you often only receive a MEP2 code.
