Default Tour Question

I am in BC and going to pick up a replacement tour on the weekend, curious as to if it will have the old 4.7 or a new 5.xxx OS..you just think because telus has released the updated OS that's maybe their phones will come with it now?. Does anyone know? And also curious as to where the strips are for water damage and what they would look like if damaged by water or not? Anyone had any experience?..

There should be a white strip on the battery if I remember correctly and if it has water damage, then it'll turn red.

If it comes with 4.7, and Telus has an update to that, rest easy.
Installing an o/s update from your carrier with Desktop Manager is the easiest update there is. (If that's what you're concerned about).
