Default Telus Torch release?
Anyone know of a confirmed release date? All i see on the internet is "available in September" and "rumored date of Sept 16th"? Any one have an insider? Thanks!

Not that I am anyone in the know. The agent I spoke with here in Dartmouth also stated mid Sept for the release of the Torch. Both BELL and Telus should be releasing on the same day as they use the same network for GSM phones.

Telus has scheduled a release date for the new BlackBerry Torch as Thursday the 16th of September; that is a rumor floating around

im thinking more of sept 21st, because thats when the Canadian launch parties start!

MAn this wait is killing and nobody has any kind of info but rumors. the major 3 need to drop this phone real soon. lots of people are waiting!!!!

From my discussion with the rep at the loyalty line yesterday, he mentioned from mid Sept till mid Oct.

I've gotten a couple of dates my self. every date has been very very close to rumor.
First it was heard of Aug 30th but that's not happening eh lol cause today is Aug 30th lol
Sept 13th (arrivin in store apparently), Sept 16h ("launch date") Sept 21st (launch party) and Sept 24th.

I heard both Sept 16 and Sept 21, I'm taking Sept 16 since Rogers is listed for Sept 15.

Well, the website has it up now as "coming soon" and when they had the Iphone up before its release it was only up for a few weeks prior to release, so i'm under the impression that its probably on target for mid/late sept.

Telus has a chance to "one up" Rogers by announcing a Sept 16th release date. Its a Thursday, payday and a good a day as any. It would make me happy to be the first kid on the block with this new toy. I want a Torch!
