Telus Social Networking Plan w/ Twitter?

I have noticed that Koodo Mobile (owned by Telus Mobility) has a new Blackberry Social Networking Plan that allows for everything that the Telus one has AND twitter? How come my Telus Social Networking plan doesn't give me access to Twitter?
I think that if they are both owned by the same people, the same plan, then it should have the same features?
- Anyone know if Telus will include Twitter eventually?

Telus likely doesn't include Twitter in part by accident/oversight. The Twitter for BB app didn't exist when Telus introduced the new social networking plan, meaning that there was never a reason to include it at the time. That said though now, it's obviously a different matter.

I'd suggest calling in and asking them. You can also contact them via their website. Its likely still just an oversight and while I wouldn't expect to have it installed tomorrow, if a few people on the Social Networking plan call in or write and say the same thing, it'll likely happen in the relatively near future. Just remember, this will likely require re-provisioning the plans to allow for Twitter, so it may take a bit of time.

Well there were lots of other Twitter apps around long before the native app. I've been using Ubertwiter for a long time and its great.

Yes, but you'll notice that the social networking apps that are used/permitted within the Social Networking plan are all made by RIM. Ubertwitter, SocialScope and all of the other twitter apps are third party apps, which are not a part of the social networking plan.

I'm using the social network plan on TELUS, and Twitter works for me.
