Default TELUS Pushes Twitter for BlackBerry
Last night I noticed a Twitter icon on my home page. I never had Twitter on my phone before so I believe TELUS pushed it to my phone. Did the Twitter for BlackBerry app get pushed to anyone else's device?

That would make sense. If you open the icon, does it just send you to a page to download the app?

The Twitter app got pushed to my phone too.
I got a social networking plan back in December before the Twitter app was released, so is it safe to assume that I can use it now for free too?

If it was pushed to your phone and you're on the social networking plan, it should be included. You can call Telus quickly to confirm.

I haven't had issues with Twitter being pushed (yet) but I am always getting Navigator pushed on mine.

That's because the service books keep getting sent to your phone. Just hide the icon. It isn't the actual app, but rather just a download link. You can hide it by highlighting it, then press the BB menu button and select the option to hide it. Don't worry, it takes negligible space on your phone anyhow.
