Default Telus equals HORRIBLE costumer service!

Every time I have went in to a Telus store with a general inquiry, or question about my plan they treat me like I'm and *****. Very rude and stuck up. Last week I went to them because my trackpad is very crooked and almost inoperable and they treated me like an ***** and said why did you even come in here its fine. Fine? Really? It takes twice the effort to scroll up with the trackpad because if I try to scroll up I just hit the silver edge, so I have to almost put my thumb deep in the area around the pad because the front part of it is THAT sunk it. But its "fine" and they said nothing can be done. This is just one of the countless times that I have been treated unfairly. They act like they are god and you are the scum off the earth. Just the way they look at customers puts my blood pressure up. And now I am stuck on a 3 year contract with these fools. I will tell you, I am done with contracts after this!!!

I wonder if it was a 'corporate' store or a dealer?

What would calling customer care do? And its every store that I have been in, some are ruder than others. And its the dealers not a corporate store.

The stores can't/won't do anything to help you besides selling you a new plan. Call customer care, they will ship a new or refurb unit out to you or to a store nearby. Corporate and private telus stores are useless. They have the power to order a replacement phone for you, but it would have to be an undeniable hardware flaw.

I've been with Telus for 10 years. The one time I walked into a store to fix my Storm, I left it with them for an hour to swap the device on my account since they were so busy. Came back an hour later, they had my contacts saved on a disk and tried to charge me about $50 for this 'service'. I asked if they even changed my phone, they said of course not, I would have to call customer service to get this approved. Absolutely useless.

The stores are horrible to deal with... They always try to milk you for as much money they can get from you. For a simple swap where it's not even your fault they will charge you $25, when you ask customer care over the phone to waive it they say that the stores are the one who can do that, but the stores keep saying they dont' have the authority to do it. Who is telling the truth!!! I have better experience when I call, especially with the loyalty department....

Default Telus "Costumer" service

First of all if it is your trackball most can be replaced. Corporate stores charge $10 for the replacement but they only cover, 8330, 8130 and 8830 but the rings do not fit for the 8830. If you have a 9630 you need to send it for repair....

I worked at a corporate store for 3 years, like all customer service it can vary, but corporate stores usually will try and help you from my experience. I worked in NB though not sure where you are...

Are you just going to every thread to say you hate TELUS? Sure, your welcomed to your opinion, but there's no reason to open up old threads just to share how much you hate them.

So, go somewhere else. Telus is bad for you, but not me, nor a lot of other users. Rogers has been horrible for a lot of people I know, and I also know a lot of other people who have had good luck with them. Same with Bell, and same with Telus. Trust me, you'll get bad customer service from any carrier if you're with them for long enough.

Re: Telus equals HORRIBLE costumer service.

Well, Duh!

They sell phones, not costumes.

Default Telus sucks

I have 1 year left on my contract. And I don't know what to do with these clowns either.

The problem is that I don't see any other cie matching this unlimited data plan.

Anyways to the OP. Avoid the stores at first. Call Telus and have them open a ticket for you. Write the number down and bring it to you most 'hated' Telus repair store. They won't be able to avoid your problems anymore.

Also write the persons name and their employee ID. (The employee ID is on top of your receipt). So when you call Telus again just give them the employee infos for a complain.

You'll like the results
