Telus and App world

Telus is now offering App World payments thru the monthly bill. How do we link or sign up for this. I have looked in the payments options in App World, and it is not listed there yet.

Where did you hear this? I don't see anything about that on the website either.

EDIT: Of course, it doesn't mention the 9700 as a supported device to use App World either, so maybe not so much up to date.

It was in the rumors section of CB. I called Telus last night and asked how to link up my phone to the billing process, and was told that it will most likely not be ready until Sept 24 at the earliest, if they dont roll back the release.

If I remember correctly it was in the same announcement as the Torch release date, so the 24th is probably a good bet. Or at least a good bet of what they're trying for.

Talked with Telus BB support and there is no plans for billing App World purchases to you bill. They were very misleading in the news release. It was for the Optik App for BB only.

My ex wife is a telus rep. They have had training for the billing and where it will show, but no release date. In the original release they made a big deal of being the first carrier to offer. I emailed Telus and got back instructions on how to launch App World (*****) so who knows.
