storm signal issues
Has my storm 9530 for a few months now and it is almost unusable much of the time. I can sit in my room and watch the signal fluctuate from 3 bars to zero bars with no rhyme or reason to it. As soon as I make a call, the signal will drop from 2-3 bars to zero and the call will drop. Or the phone will just never ring with an incoming call. Happens at home and wherever the signal is not particularly strong.
This seems to be a storm issue, as I see a bunch of posts from verizon users with the same issue.
Anyone else noticing this on telus, and anything can I do apart from warrantying the phone? I'm getting the impression this may be a problem on the Storm 2 as well. - 03-03-2010, 02:08 AM #2
Try calling the following number from your phone:
*22803, then press 1 for English and 2 to update your preferred roaming list (PRL).
This can help in some cases. If that doesn't help, you can try reloading the OS. And if that doesn't help, then feel free to take the phone in.On Twitter: k_r_y_p_t_o
