so i finally upgraded ... to bold 9700

and now ppl are telling me to return it as new blackberry is coming out i have a week more to return and may be get some other fone.

happend with me last year too when ppl were like new tour 2 is coming out and its been one year i dont see that anywhere..

Honestly, you could be waiting indefinitely if you keep wanting the next blackberry. Every time a new berry drops, there is always talk about the next one.

The 9700 is unreal, so is the hspa network it comes on. (faster, data + voice at the same time, SIM card). The only benefit of waiting for the Tour 2 is that it will have more memory. I think people are still arguing whether or not the Bold 2 will have enough memory to run OS 6 (Tour will for sure). I think that should be the only deciding factor in your decision. other then that, the specs are pretty much the same I think except that the Tour will be slightly heftier and have a smaller battery to make room for the CDMA hardware.

FYI, it's not called a Tour 2. Its the Bold 9650. At this point, we still don't know if its going to come to Telus. I had reason to believe it would, but it's been a while now, so I don't know anymore. And if Telus doesn't get the Bold 9650, then the next model likely won't come out for another couple of months (at least - again, it depends).

telus released the tour in august last year maybe they will have an august release or the wont release at all
