hi well i have the Bold 9780 with Telus and i will be going to Boston so i'm wondering what provider i can use if i get my Bold unlocked, also can i use prepaid with the US providers? i want to use BBM thanks

how much do you think i would be charged if i use bbm for the 5days i'm there
telus has a $10data pass charging $1/MB

If you only want BBM, buy the $10 US Data Pass and you'll only pay $1/MB. As long as you're not sending attachments, you can pretty much BBM to your hearts content for minimal charges. Browsing and what not will add up though; if you want to do that you may want to consider unlocking your phone and getting a prepaid US plan. I personally just pay the roaming fees and try to limit my usage. $1/MB is not that bad, especially with how BlackBerry's compress data.
