Thumbs down Question I have about telus

Okay so I just got my blackberry back like a week and a bit ago and now the battery barely lasts an hour and now I can't even send texts. I called Telus like 5 times last night thinking they would send me a new phone or something. But no they wanted me to go to a telus that was 30 minutes away when I have no time let alone a car to get the that Telus. And this morning I am so pissed that I can't even send text messages. What should I do?

I'm pretty sure you have to go to the Telus store. They have to "replicate" the problems with your phone. If they deem your phone as malfunctioning then they'll give you a new one.

Not how it works anymore. You have to take it into the store, if they decide there IS a problem with the phone, they will ship it off, repair it, then send it back a few weeks later. If they cannot fix it, they will send back a new phone. Either way, you will have to send your phone in and rent a loaner for $150.00 which will be refunded upon being returned or be without a phone. New warranty policy sucks.

Try using your 15 minutes or 15 days return. But you will have to go to the store.

Have you tried to see if it's a software problem? i.e. Have you tried to reload the OS? If not, and if you'd like to try, let us know. If that's all the problem is, then you can be back up and running in short order. Let us know if you'd like to try this, otherwise, there isn't much more we can recommend as you are at Telus' mercy (although, telling them that you tried reloading your OS may help as well).

You can find the steps on how to do this here:

How To Reload Your Operating System - BlackBerry Support Community Forums

Telling them (and actually doing it) that you reloaded the OS will save both parties a lot of time as that will be the first thing they recommend after troubleshooting all the other small things.
