International Data Usage - London, Egypt, Greece
Hi!
I will be travelling on a cruise in Europe at the end of September and will be visiting various countries over a two week period. I have a couple of questions:
(1) Telus has an International SIM card provided and I have already called Telus to get my phone set up for international services. If I use the card, will I have any problems using data services in the countries I visit? (I have checked the service map for Telus and the only country that doesn't have data availability is Greece.) I don't want to go and set up with the local phone service providers as I will be in most of the countries for only a day each but I would like to be able to use texting and BBM sparingly.
(2) If I do have problems connecting overseas, should I just call Telus customer service in Canada? I don't want to spend $3 a minute on hold with Telus.
Thanks for your help!
