Try turning off the radio and turning it back on.
Battery pull.
Talk to Telus.

The SOS mode signifies the wireless carrier network is not available and the telephone has automatically switched into its 9-1-1-enabled dial-out mode. If your BlackBerry is UMA-capable and you have a wireless network (WiFi) available, enable WiFi to determine whether UMA mode starts up. I had SOS show up on my BB9700 this week for a brief period of time while walking at the park shortly after a hurricane blew through the area.

My friend here in Saskatoon has had terrible Telus service all day... I think they had a network crash or serious troubles today.
