Default Data Change when Switching to Blackberry?

I have the "Unlt'd Personal Email & IM 15" with the HTC Touch Diamond and I'm planning to switch to the blackberry curve... will I be able to keep the unlimited data?

Been there.... Done that... you will not be able to carry over the unlimited data. I switched phones over a year ago and when I did they neglected to tell me that I could not switch it over to a new phone. The problem that occurs is there is no unlimited data code to enter on their end so it cannot be added. However, what's even worse, is that if you try to get it done and they de-activate your current phone, you won't be able to get it put back onto your current phone because the code is not in the system.

When this happened to me I blew a gasket. I kept my cool when they told me I COULD change phones but then came back and told me I could not add the unlimited. I kept my cool when they told me that they couldn't even put it back on my old phone. I lost my cool when I told them they need to make this right and they went on the defense telling me that I was at fault for trying to cancel my contract. That sent me flying....

Anyways, long story short.... you will not be able to transfer your current unlimited data plan.

Sorry for rambling on like that... I still get annoyed when I think back to that day!!!

There's no code for it to be put onto a blackberry? But if I remember, people that had blackberry pearls had this data plan so shouldn't it be able to be swapped to a blackberry device?

right, but the key here is remembering. It was something that was only available in the past. Now those codes cannot be re-added as they do not exist anymore (for obvious reasons) so my advice, if you can live with an in market data plan then go for it. otherwise, stay where you are.
