9530: cannot send or recieve MMS because it's on the CDMA network.

9700: I had the same problem when I first bought it. I called telus and they started a ticket#, then called me 5 days later to say it was fixed, and it was. Whatever they did worked.

I sent them an email yesterday, got a reply back today that they have looked into my problem and found nothing. So they told me to call in from a different phone other then my berry to try to solve it.

I guess when they were looking into the problem, something went wrong and now im not receiving any text messages. I guess i have to call them in tomorrow and see how that goes.

I had the same problem. But I did the same thing as DaveInVan did. I called Telus. They did the usual thing, remove the battery, send yourself a message, and when that didn't work, they put a ticket in. Got a call 5 days later and they had it all fixed. Give them a call.

Just want to comment that I just went through this and Telus resolved it. The only difference was that it took about 20 minutes for my ticket to be processed.

Nothing else seemed to remedy this (battery pull, re sending MMS service books, etc.). I did notice that my MMS transport protocol is still pushing 0.0.0.0 though which I thought would have changed post remedy.

Also, when I asked the tech what the solution was, he became very vague, stating part of my 'profile' was missing. Either way problem was fixed quickly and easily, as always.

I had the same issues with my bold 9700, telus put in a ticket and i never heard back from them. I was snooping around on the telusmobility.com/snap website where i had to go before to get my pic messages. I unchecked the box that forwarded messages to a different phone or email and that actually fixed my problem. I can now send and receive mms without any issues.
its worth a shot
