Yes, but there are some areas in Canada with no (or very limited) HSPA service (e.g. Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Western Ontario), so there is still a need for CDMA phones on the Telus network, especially for it's business clientele (which is right up the BlackBerry alley). This isn't to say that Telus will be getting the 9650 for certain, but it certainly provides reason to think it might.
Bla1ze had a reason to edit his post, and trust me, if he did, it's for good reason. Like he said, there is no guarantee at this point, but given that Verizon just released the 9650, I'd be willing to guess that if Telus will be getting it, we'll likely hear something within the next month (that seems to be the usual way this progresses - Verizon gets a phone, then Telus and/or Bell usually get it a month or so later).
