BB will not accept any inputs

my blackberry will not accept any inputs. when it times out and goes black pressing any button will not activate it. if i get a phone call, text or message i can not access them. if i plug the blackberry in (charge it) the screen activates the screen highlights to my touch but pressing any button or the screen does nothing. I can update the os (or downgrade) it but when i have to accept the software agreement i can hightlight the ok but the click of the main screen does nothing at all, nor any of the other buttons either. when my alarm was going off i could neither dismiss it or snooze it. I have taken out the battery for hours and still the same. anyone ever have this problem or any fixes???

Sounds like you have curve on your hands ?? Have you spilt water on it or left it in a damp area before?

I would try to back it up first. Go here: http://crackberry.com/blackberry-101...ked-blackberry and hopefully that will resolve it.

If not then it is a goner.

no water, didn't drop it, working one day not the next i think it is software related and maybe a memory error, tried that website no response from them. different kind of lockup

Likely moisture, I had the exact same symptoms to a T on my 8330 which were caused by this. It didn't come in direct contact with water, but it was probably raining/left in a pocket/maybe I sneezed on it wrong.

Try and dry it out, i was able to fix mine by taking it apart and cleaning it with a toothbrush/rubbing alcohol.

Youtube videos are available to disassembly instructions, take all the components off the board (should be left with basically just the board afterwards---SLOWLY unpeel the mylar sheet too) and go nuts.
