6gb versus unlmited data

I have a BB Storm and presently have an older cdma unlimited BB data plan for $30. It unfortunately does not allow me to tether so I called them to inquire about it hoping they would just add a code adn allow me to tether. Not the case. After a while Retentions offered me a 6bg plan for $30 that will allow me to tether.
I have high speed at home and work so this is more for when I want to work out of the office. presently I only use about 500 mb a month.
Anyone who's been tethering think 6 gb is enough for the odd usage here adn there adn perhaps a few nextflix movies here and there with tethering?
My contract is up in 10 months so shoudl I just suck it up and see what they offer me when that's up? Would love to have unlimited tethering like Wind and Mobilicity

Don't do it! Get a program called "Tether" it will allow you to tether on your current data plan, it "tricks" the network into thinking its your phone using the data not a tethered connection.
