Default Are you having T-Mobile BIS access issues?

I have been trying to setup my email for almost 2 days now and I cant. On my device it tells me "We apologize, there was an errr trying to access the service"

I try to log in to My T-Mobile from a computer, hop into configure email (BIS) and I am met with the same message. Clicking email accounts, change device, language or service books takes me back to tmobile.com where I have to log back in again. Anyone else? I need access to my email and not even the t-mobile people know what the problem is...

I've been having problems with tmobile all week. I thought it was just my phone. And now they have redone the my tmobile site and I can't even resend the service books myself. I've called them, but they are really no help.

I've finally isolated my issue. Whenever I update my service books with a backup taken earlier this week and even last week, it deletes my BB browser. I can't figure out what is wrong with tmobile's service books all of a sudden.

I have called tmobile for the second time today. Finally I received a rep who was honest. Tmobile is having issues with their service books. They don't have an ETA on when this will be fixed. Also, if you try to log into your My Tmobile site (which has been updated) you probably can't access the configure email option. Mine says I don't have rights to do this. At any rate, they have a known outage and "engineers are working to fix it". However they have no estimated time for when it will be fixed.

My problem initially started with the browser not working and I kept getting this net.rim.vm.vmerror. I re-installed my os, tried the crackberry util instructions, everything. I would then get the browser to work but not email.

I guess we have to wait for tmobile to fix the problem. They claim they will do an over the air update to all customers.

The problem I'm having is whenever I go to Manage Internet Email, instead of going to the proper page it takes me to a webpage with nothing but an ad for a Suzuki SX4 Sport. I have no way to manage my email from my device.

The exact same thing happened to me! Thought I was going crazy because my sister's BB takes her to the correct page with no problem...go figure.

Yeah...the website is also a mess. Whenever I log in, it doesn't recognize my device, and I've gone through at least three wacky cycles of selecting the correct phone, being able to access the BIS site to send my service books, logging out, then logging back in only to have it give me the unrecognized device runaround and being unable to access the BIS site.

Hopefully, they'll fix all this stuff soon. Truthfully, I kinda want the old site back . The new one's kinda slow and a little too much for me.

Default T-mobile BIS on my.t-mobile.com

So, the magic place to find the Blackberry BIS email setup and service books is

Login to my.t-mobile.com
Then, make sure your device is a blackberry, if not, add your phone to your profile

Then put your mouse over the mobilife tab in the middle of the screen, and then select sms and e-mail. This will take you to another screen. mine usually starts with an open send sms page. close that, go to the bottom and select email. That should take you to the BIS Setup.
