I have tried everything, I still can't get my 8900 to accept a downgrade to 4.6 os from 5.0 . Yes i have read all the forums..What theck am i doing WRONG!

Hmm...what have you tried? What version of desktop manager are you using?

Swipe,delete programs, reinstall Desktopmngr....Everything CB has to offer!

here to do the downgrade with the same issue. used BBSAKv1.5 to wipe and apploader from DM 5.0.0.11

No prob...are you disconnected from the internet when you are trying to downgrade? If not, while it doesn't make sense that it would keep you from downgrading, it might be a factor. I'm stumped, and it looks like you've tried everything, but I've had upgrade/downgrade issues, too, and I usually do this (assuming you're not concerned about losing data - if you are, try to selectively back up as little as possible, i.e. contacts, call logs, important emails/texts first):

1. Use CrackUtil or JL_Cmdr to completely wipe your phone (no OS and no apps).
2. Completely uninstall DM and the current OS installed on your computer
3. Restart computer
4. Download and re-install DM (try using 4.6 - some have said this is the most friendly version of DM, especially when it comes to the betas)
5. Download and re-install your OS
6. Disconnect from the internet before you hook your BB up to install the OS (shouldn't really matter with DM 4.6, but can't hurt)

Let me know how it goes...happy to brainstorm with you if it doesn't work
