Default WIFI channels for Tmo

I was wondering what channel most of you use for WIFI on TMOBILE and how much better it really was if you have switched channels.

I keep having dropped calls and was thinking a channel change might be what I need

Thanks

The best channel is the one that your neighbors aren't using. Most routers ship with Channel 6 set as the default. To complicate things, the Wi-Fi channels overlap. Envision an 11-lane wide road but the "lanes" are only a foot wide. You'd only be able to fit 3 cars side-by-side. Channels 1, 6, and 11 are the only three channels that don't overlap with each other.

Go to the Wi-Fi options on your 8320 and do a site survey. Switch your router to use channel 1, 6 or 11, whichever is not in use. If all of those are in use, try an unused middle channel in-between the weaker (more negative dbm) signals on your site survey.
