I just retired my 8900 after 2 years so I know the feeling lol. T-Mobile just got the Blackberry Bold 9780 which is pretty cool. No one knows yet when any of the rumored Blackberries will be available. The Dakota looks pretty sweet. I'd imagine this July at the earliest.

I wish they'd get the Torch. That's what I'm holding out for...

Yes, the trackballs that constantly malfunction get junked up and are such an old technology...

Bring back the spin wheel!

Love my trackpad. Couldn't imagine going back to the ball...wheel, maybe, lol!

I know trackballs can get stuck and junked up in due time, however....I think that at least with the trackball BB's you can get replacement kits and just keep on using it....if you have a trackpad model on the other hand...once your warranty is up...you pretty much have to get a whole new phone because you cant just "pop" out a trackpad and replace it. Make sense????

1) You can still replace a trackpad, it just requires a little more dis-assembly. At that point, its not like its going to void your warranty anyway.

2) you are much less likely to need to replace a trackpad so ease of replacement isn't as important of an issue.

A T-Mo Rep told me today to watch for something new next week. I'm not holding my breath because if he knew that someone already would have said something about it!

Saw that T-Mo could possibly be launching the "Next Gen Curve, Bold Touch, and Storm 3" later this year, along with a Wi-Fi only PlayBook. I think it was on Tmonews.com where I saw it.

Trackball sucks and I hope it never comes back.

I wish RIM wouldn't be so cheap with the RAM. Put 1gb already.
