Wink What's so great about T-Mo?

What aspects of your T-Mo service keep you a happy, loyal customer? Vote in the poll above. Although I'm an "all of the above" person, T-Mo won me over with UMA.

Does the 9810 have UMA built in or is it the wireless calling the 9900 has?

The 4G phones do not do hotspot/tower call handoffs. Except for that, WFC on a BB is identical to UMA.

$50 plan with 48mbps hspa+. Similar features (or less) costs about $80-95 on other carriers... Wifi calling is a nice bonus.

Their flexibility is what I love. I've got four BBs on my account, but only one with BES. I couldn't get away with that on most other carriers. My unlimited texting plan costs the same for the family as most carriers charge per line. I've even got unlimited home VOIP for 10/mo.

Sorry, I am so used to calling it UMA. No 9810 does not have UMA, but WiFi calling. As someone already pointed out, it lacks access point handover. However, I like it better.

It does warn you as you are loosing the WiFi signal. Also, a few occasions when I used my old BBs with UMA overseas, I answered the call right after the connection was lost!! Ouch!! Coming home and later saw expensive international roaming call bill wasn't that hot

The call quality is very much the same on mine 9810 running leak OS 7.1.0.190. I probably won't fiddle with it anymore unless TMO releases the more recent official 7.1 OS.

I like it for all the reasons you like it.

I will say now that I am in a good 3G/4G area at home, I dont use UMA/Wifi calling all the much anymore with my 9700 where before it was a neccessity!

I really do like their CS the best though. Always answer my questions and are always friendly. I cant ask for more, besides them dropping the dam price on a 9900 as it is their most expensive phone.....still!
