Default From what i have gathered

Depending on your credit line (mine is $500) we could literally get as many BlackBerry's as we want! For instance; if your credit line is $1000 you could get 2 8900's at $400 (retail for EM+) and pay $20 a month for each phone and once your done paying it you could get another BlackBerry(s) this is awesome! Because paying it at full retail hurts a lot more than a few bucks a month!

I will be doing this for the 9700 also, it will be out by the end of November. (25th) I got to play with a Cliq today! Its a really cool phone. I like the Catherine Zeta Jones is appearing EM now

I wish I could remember where I read it but I saw a news article announcing that the 9700 would be released by T-Mobile on November 11th. I think it was a T-Mobile press release. The source was credible enough that I put the date on my calendar and I wouldn't have done that over just a rumor.

I remember seeing that as well but remember when the 8900 was going to come out for T-Mobile? And the speculation on the date it was going to come out (as well as other BlackBerry devices) also, the fact that it hasn't been posted on the site as "coming soon" under the BlackBerry phones section (just like the 8900 was and came out 3-4 weeks after it was posted) a November 11th date would be a bit to quick on the release without the exposure of the phone on its carriers site. Wouldn't you agree on that? My conclusion on this matter is being based on previous device launch history. The Motorola Cliq is coming out November 2nd and it has been exposed and advertised on the site for 3 weeks so for and when November 2nd hits it'll be 4 weeks of exposure that the device (Cliq) becomes available for purchase nationwide.

I'm not arguing with you or anyone on the forums for the matter (on the launch date) like I said, I'm basing this off previous device launch history and November 25th to me seems more of an accurate that than November 11th.

Again, the 11th date was a credible source. But to be honest, Black Friday (27th - the day after Thanksgiving) would make more sense to kick off the Christmas season.

Whatever the date, seems like somewhere between the 11th and 27th is going to be a pretty good call.

I'm keeping my 8900 for awhile. Really am not in a mood to part with it yet.

I agree with berryite - Black Friday would be it, for sure. It will also be officially one year since I got my first berry

I don't think they will let you have "unlimited berries" though - they'll draw the line somewhere, obviously they don't want you buying them up and selling them at inflated prices on eBay...

I know what has been going around on the forums and I know it was a credible source. Like I said before I'm not doubtaing what you or others say but I have an open mind for a later launch date that's all.

As far as having as many phones as you want; that's how T-Mobile will be making their money. We will be buying these phones at retail with a 20 month extended period to pay them off so T-Mobile isn't loosing any money they are making. For me with a $500 credit line, I could get a 8900 for $400 with EM+ and pay it off and my $500 credit line will replenish. So in essence I could and can keep getting BlackBerry's and paying them off, or any phone for that matter. The credit line could go upto $1200 so for those with really good credit this will open up doors for you in a magnificent way! I was told about this by CSR and a retail corporate store rep. I plan on getting the 9700 this way and then the rest of the lineup!

I was told there is no "credit check". You get the phone thru TMo and use it on their billing. Where did you see a credit check was involved in the installment plans?

Is this whole $20 a month think for anyone on any plans? Or do you have to be on the one of the new project black plans?

Ctrad45: They check your credit to see what you qualify for as far as installments. That's all.

Califomium89: personally I would go with the 9700 because it will be the best BlackBerry out in the market. (Unless you are getting a phone other than a BlackBerry)

I wanted to get the 9700 but I have to switch to any of the EM+ plans. These plans don't benefit me since I have five lines and I was told by a CSR that what I have now is better for me. I was looking on making a jump from my 8320 to the 9700. Paying the 9700 at retail in 4 installments is a bit too much and it'll hurt my pockets. LOL

Californium89: I see lol is she the financial head of the relationship in terms of decision making where the money goes?! Lol if that's the case nothing wrong with that, my gf is. (She manages money better than I do believe it or not, even though she gets distracted at stores a lot with what's available for purchase lol) it would make a really great gift for your gf. I'm thinking of getting my gf a 8900 or the 9700 (she has AT&T on a family plan with her parents and her upgrade is coming December, she has the 8310 and I don't know if I should let her get her upgrade or me buy her a 9700 or 8900) regardless she is getting either or with the upgrade. I'm bummed about this lol (I want to purchase it for her damnit)
