Angry What Crap from Business

Here is the situation. My company just unlocked access to accept company emails through a Blackberry. Previously they only support iPhone (CEO Has one) & Andriod (Why, no clue). So I sold my T-Mobile 8900 and Purchased a Moto Cliq, good phone, lots of features. Anyway we get an email today that as of Monday 03/22/2010, Blackberry will be the only device to be allowed through our network!!! WTF iPhone & Andriod will not have access!!! So now I am stuck with a phone that I can't use for business. My question is: How do I find a used T-Mobile Blackberry (prefer running 5.0) for sale that doesn't cost an arm and a leg!! I am so hot right now, I should have known something was up when I noticed the CEo rocking a new Bold this morning!!! Bastards!!!

Look in our own CB Marketplace. Maybe you could even sell your phone here.

I would expect the company to provide me with a phone if they felt I needed one. I would not spend money on a phone for work unless I was self-employed. If the company felt it was necessary for me to have a phone, they should pay for it.

I agree I'm also suprised there was no internal email or notification.for such a move.

Strange a company would do such a" Bold" move, pun intended...

Really though why would there be no notification for ample time to switch over?

Ultimately though you would be better off with a BB over a cliq anyway.

There are many places to get used phones for cheap, like Craigslist, Ebay or Amazon...maybe even here.

Good luck!

Just a wild guess, but someone may have pointed out to the boss that BB's are more secure that iPhones.
