voice barred bb data plan

Is there a way to activate on google voice to make calls and sms as I can't make or receive calls with the voice barred plan

Can't make calls at all...that's why it's called "voice barred".

You may be able to send the SMS though.

If you can, you can switch to the normal BB data plan at the same price but voice calls will be billed at .45/min.

yeah but the problem is i cant receive the activation call

Ahh that's right, I forgot about that.

In that case, it's not possible. Is this a phone issued to you by work or something? I know some companies put voice bars on the data plans if they don't want people calling. There really is no way around it.
