Default Upgrading service and getting Blackberry

I'm a long time T-Mobile customer and have decided to upgrade my service and get a Blackberry. I'm on a shared family plan with no data right now, what kind of discount should I be able to get on a device? I checked briefly and data with 400 monthly messages will be $25/device, is that typical?

I just got the 8900 for $149 on upgrade, unlimited data + 400 text at $25. However, I did mention on the phone that I was looking at Wirefly, as they had a lower upgrade price (conveniently didn't mention I knew that it entailed a higher monthly contract rate), and they gave me a month's regular service ($59.99 on the family plan) free.

Since I purchased, I found that Costco has some great TMo deals on the BBs. If you're a member, pays to check it out, but make sure your monthly service fee won't go up (aside from the new data plan).

As long as I remember there is no discount for family plan holders.

You are planning to get rebate after buying BB, aren't you?
To get qualified for it you need to purchase at least $24.99 data plan.

No plan - no rebate.

Thanks,
I ended up with pulling the trigger on a 8320 Curve for $99 and data for $24.99. I just renewed my contract for 2 years, I got that through the "loyalty department". Hopefully I won't regret getting that instead of the 8900, is there that much of a difference?
