Default Upgrade Advice, Please!

I have been a T-Mobile customer for almost two years, and am eligible for an upgrade in about 3 weeks.

I have had the Pearl 8100 for about 6 months now (bought it used after my old uninsured phone died).

I am looking for some upgrade advice. Should I go with the new 9700? Any other suggestions? Is there a chance that a newer phone will come out within the next month or two that I should wait for?

Thanks for your advice!

from the looks of everything out there as of right now, there will not be a "new" blackberry in the next couple of months. You will prob have to wait till Q2 or Q3 of 2010. That being said, you might want to consider the 9700.

I just ordered mine and dont have it yet, so I cant comment on it yet, but look at the 9700 forum to see what people have to say.

There will be no new blackberry anytime soon for t-mobile I would jump on the 9700 it truely is a fine device I just got mine yesterday its so much better then the 8900 even tho the display is the same its noticably crisper on the 9700 you will most likely have the 9700 for close to a year I would say till something newer comes out

Don't count those chickens before they hatch so quickly. RIM is on a mission to stay ahead of the iPhone. They are releasing new devices in a rapid fire manner. I don't see them slowing down anytime soon. I'll predict another "hot new device" sometime for Spring 2010.

Get the 9700 or the 8900. You won't be dissapointed!
