You can't hold on to tired paradigms and expect to blaze new trails. In the long term, the telecon traffic that travels through the "cloud" is going to overtake the traffic that rides on copper. It's only a matter of time.
I remember when my company started lighting up our headquarter offices with WiFi and the amazing connections that suddenly became possible in areas that never before allowed mobile communications because of limited or no cell connectivity.
T-Mobile is a pretty amazing company.
