Default Two BlackBerries for one number

Here is my question:

I have a Curve 8310 with T-Mobile. Once or twice a week I have meetings at locations that do not allow camera phones in. I am trying to buy a used 8820 that I can use while attending these meetings. I do not want to get rid of my Curve, so what I would do is just take the SIM card out of the Curve and put it in the 8820, when I'm done with the meeting I would just switch it back.

Am I going to have problems with email, text messages, well any kind of a problem on the 8820, because I already have everything set up on the Curve? Can this work? Has anyone done this before? Will T-Mobile allow this?

Please give me your opinions, experienece, etc... ...

Thanks,

You can do it, you just need to log into T-Mobiles BIS site and switch the PINs every time you do it.

Yes, the phone should work for calls, but if you don't switch the pins your email and BB messenger will not work.

OK so the calls should work fine, but I would have to switch pins also for email?

Thanks for responses.

Its simpler than that... go to your email setup on the BB that you switched the SIM into... it will ask if you want to switch from the one PIN to the other. Select YES, it will send the service books automatically. I do it daily... takes all of 2 minutes to accomplish.

I do this too. I have a Pearl and a Curve. Still working out the kinks on the Curve (got it used). So when it starts spazing out, I switch to the Pearl. Just resend service books.
