Default Trouble with MMS

My wife and daughter just got BB 8520's from Tmo and cannot send or receive MMS's from or to anyone on another network. Any thoughts?

Do these phones have a BB data plan on them?

The first thing I would suggest is to have each phone send a MMS to itself. sometimes this is needed to provision the service.

If that doesnt work and the line has a BB data plan log in to BIS and resend the service books.

If they dont have a BB data plan, call blackberry support from a different phone than the one with problems and have CS enable MMS

Try a battery pull. If that doesn't work, try clearing the log files.

If you don't have the data package, you need a free feature added called a BB Voice Addon. Be prepared, as reps are instructed to not add it anymore. Some will still do it, because they are not aware. Don't make a fuss if they tell you no though.

They have a data plan and have all data applications working but can't MMS outside of T-Mobile's network.

This is a network problem that occurs often with ported numbers and sometimes even new numbers: you might not be able to send or receive mms from specific carriers, such as sprint, or altogether. Call CS to escalate the issue since its one of network technicality. In worst case, you might even have to change your numbers. GL!
