Default Today's Speech by Lazaridis

During today's speech by Mike Lazaridis he commented on the new 9650 with all that new memory. He mentioned at around the 23 minute and 40 second mark that the new phone who is being picked up by Sprint and Verizon also has a spot for a Sim card. Does this mean that T-Mobile might be picking up this device in the near future. I sure hope so, being a 9700 owner I would like to get that memory advantage for the upcoming 6.0..... OS of the near future. All this talk about the new OS will make the 9700 lag scares me. I like a device that flies. Nothing worse then a phone that is in slow motion.

We Berry addicts have to be on the cutting edge (no pun intended). Two weeks ago, our 9700s were the latest, greatest. Now the talk on the forum is for the new devices, which is understandable. Im like you, Im wondering what AT&T will pull out of their hats in the form of some new GSM Berries.

I believe the sim slot is there to make it a world phone. This way, if you travel outside of the US, you can purchase a local sim and use the phone wherever you're at.

I don't believe putting a TMO sim in a gsm phone would work....and even if it did, isn't TMO 3G band different than most, so you wouldn't be able to get 3g service?
