Default TMO's Smartphones Are Still the Fastest

PC World: T-Mobile’s 4G network wins smartphone speed test | BGR

Laptop sticks are second overall, phones are first. Unfortunately the tested devices didn't include a BB because RIM is scared of HSPA 7.2 and HSPA+

I get 3G (and am a former employee) so I was pretty stoked about it. Being on Tmo for almost ten years now, I was kind of excited to read this the other day.

Yeah OUCH! Most of the things a 9780 can do are not functioning properly on GPRS. The new web browser is great - on wifi. On GPRS it's completely useless. Several minutes to load a page. Like surfing on Dial-Up on the home PC.
