Don't you know that we are in the era of Obamanomics. Consumers are supposed to buy more when prices go up. Get with the program

Why pay that for an 8520? Get an 8900.

Have lost interest in both parties because they are all "tellers of falsehoods" but remind me, wasn't it our last president who believed you could flush trillions and trillions and trillions and then even more trillions down a rathole in Iraq but by doing so it would have no impact on entrepreneurial capital, small business formation (where most new jobs are always made) and our domestic economy?

The current guy is a do nothing. The last one was an i*diot. Neither should have gotten in.

To the OP: $349.99 is the original price of the 8520, T-Mobile did not raise it, in fact they lowered it (for EM+)

When the 8520 first came out it WAS $299.99. I was thinking about getting it. I even went to Walmart and they had it for $349.99 and I was like "WTF".

Totally agree. I am a moderate Republican but I didn't like Bush, especially in last term. Obama has done NOTHING to impress me. :P *sigh*

It's weird that they would raise the price of the 8520. Can anyone speculate why? I mean, we're going to get the 9700 soon, I thought when a new BB is due out soon, the prices of the older models tend to go DOWN, not up.

The only reason I can think of is due to the new plans that TMO has but I don't know when the pricing changed on the 8520. The way they show the pricing on the website is different also. They used to show you the retail price minus the discount(s) if there was one. Now they just show you one price.

Obama is a very affable man. You almost have to like him. High charm factor.

With all that said, he wanted the job. He knew going in that it was going to be a nightmare. No one forced him to run. Now he's got the job and it's time to stand and deliver. He's done virtually nothing in the past 11 months. It's shameful actually. What a deadbeat president. If the next 3 years are as lackluster, he'll go down in history as a do-nothing president. Unless of course the Republicans run that kook Palin and then Obama will get re-elected in a landslide.

Obama is a great orator and a very likable man. i don't know whether its the depth of the mess he is in or his inability to handle the current situation, he hasn't done much after taking office. we can wait and see how the whole situation turns out in the coming months.

11 months is plenty of time to do something. Obama hasn't done much except vouch for his pork-laden bill and pose for some photo ops. Big whoop.
Let's face it, he's just another Carter.

I'm hoping the Republicans will drop the whole conservative-god-anti-gay-anti-choice crap and support someone who is fiscallý conservative but moderate on the social values...as in, NOT Palin.

A true Republican wouldn't be off telling people how to run their lives, who to worship, and who to marry. That's not freedom.

Just my 2 cents. Thanks.
