WHY TMOBILE!!!!??? I hope it's not true!

it'd be neat if it were true. With the 9700, the Galaxy S, the Sexy Nexy (freq), the G2 and the iP3Gs, they will be contender in the high end market

T mobile is the dark horse in this Carrier race...
they have decent phones and they do offer a lot of good bargains like the Buy One Get One smartphones that they have now..
they even have the month to month contract.. unlike the others where you have to start with a 2 yr contract first before you go month to month..
so Yeah! i like it that T mo will have the iphone

I'm happy that TM will be offering this. But I was really hoping that the iPhone 4, not the 3Gs be the next phone I would be upgrading to. What I don't understand is why they're going with the 3Gs? Granted this is still just a rumor. It seems to me they are moving in a backward direction??

i don't know if you've noticed but T mobile isn't really considered as one of the big boys like AT&T and Verizon... so if ever another network is getting the iphone 4.. it's gonna be a CDMA one for Verizon.
the high end ones normally goes to the Bigger networks..

I still have high hopes that iPhone 4 will be available through TM. If TM UK offers the iPhone 4, why is it so hard for the US to do the same?

when AT&T releases the iphone 4G then i think the iphone 4 will be available to T-Mo..
these carriers pay for a portion of the phones that you're buying if you sign a contract with them hence the $200 price tag..
now maybe just maybe.. for T-mo it's more economical for them to go with the 3GS than the iphone 4? or someone has a higher bid than T-mo for the iphone 4

i work for tmo us and you wont believe how hard they stress to us its a seperate company...we have nothing at all to do with tmo uk now i know theres more ties then that but the us has its own CEO and the uk has their own its technicaly a seperate company all together

bring it on. i personally hate the iphone, but i know some ppl would grab one on tmo. i dont think it would help with sells directly, but i think that it would help tmo's image and indirectly stop this bleeding of customers.

i respectfully disagree. vzn has launched so many smear campaigns against the iphone and how the droid is just a pure bucket of does, that i dont think that vzn would suddenly carry a product that they have been lampooning for years.

the only way i could see vzn getting it is if apple released a lte capable iphone.

As Pyrus mentioned, there are managed completely separately. Many companies are run this way with cell phones. The same brand name in a different country does not have the same phone lineup. TMO UK having the iPhone unfortunately means nothing for TMO US. DT owns both divisions, but they have different management, plans, and business goals

I hope it don't clog up our network like it does on AT&T's...because that would just suck!

Also don't care if TMobile sells them as I loathe Apple and Steve Pretending I am god Jobs!
