I never trust those things. From my understanding, T-mo keeps a lot of future phones under wraps until the last minute.

I don't know if your being sarcastic or not, here's what it says on BGR.

"UPDATE: Sorry for the confusion. The slide above says November, but our guy says its older and provided it to us for information purposes. There is a newer internal slide that does show October."

Was talking to Customer Service yesterday and was told that a Touchscreen Blackberry will be released before Xmas. Only phone that fits that description is the Storm 2. (Crossing Fingers)

The Storm is a sexy looking device. No doubt about that.

I just can't see the practicality of using a touch-screen device as a hardcore BlackBerry user. We buy BlackBerrys because we are hardcore email and text message people. The touch-screen thing would kill me using it everyday.

Sexy? Yup. Practical? Not a believer.

Perhaps it is because I am so in love with my 8900 but the jury is still out on the 9700 as far as I'm concerned.

I am not a fan of the trackpad. And we still do not have a definitive answer on whether the 9700 will have UMA as far as I know. No UMA = total dealbreaker for me.

I'm not in any rush to replace my 8900. Love this thing. So if RIM wants to sell me a new device, they better bring something pretty compelling to the table. Trackpads and lack of UMA ain't gonna cut it.

9700 Forum Thread confirms UMA working.
