Default Tmobile Data/Billing Questions

Sup everyone i just have a couple questions, I recently noticed that they changed my Data plan from 19.99 to 24.99(w/400text), now i was wondering if i could get them to change it back to just the 19.99 because they dident even let me know they were doing this

Also im using my berry as a modem sometimes, and i was wondering if there any any over usage chargers? Should i beware of how much i use my phone as a modem?

Any help would be appreciated

the plan shouldn't have changed unless you called in to change it. "Grandfathered plans" remain in effect no matter how long you are with tmobile unless you call to make a change. Did you recently upgrade to a different phone? Most of the smart phones in tmobiles lineup require a data plan when you upgrade and the plans that they are allowed to choose from don't include a $19.99 plan. I'd definitely call and ask about that...

If you are paying $24.99 with 400 messages, you have unlimited data. If you are using your bb as a modem, it is still unlimited as far as I know. Might be a question to ask a professional, though...just in case.

no problem. I wouldn't call Tmobile shady, though. Compared to Sprint, Verizon and AT&T, they are probably the only company that doesn't try to pull fast ones on you. Their customer service reps go through training, but there are alot of questions about alot of services on alot of different phones that they have to remember. Just have them notate whatever they tell you to make sure that if you find out something different later (ie, overages because it wasn't unlimited when you were told it was), you can call and tell them that you were told different. They are EXCELLENT at taking responsibility for their mistakes...

Are you sure that T-Mobile changed your plan without your consent? There must be some misunderstanding.

In my experience, Verizon and AT&T will do that, but T-Mobile doesn't. They may tell you "that plan won't work with that phone" but unless you EXPLICITLY agree to change plans, they won't do it.
