As a sidenote: try to get it before TMO forces Value plans. They should still off contracts though...

I really, really, really doubt TMO's going to go all Value any time soon. IMO it's too confusing for the average customer who's used to subsidies and one payment for the phone. It's great for those who don't have to buy a new phone, and it is cheaper in the long run, but I still hate that there's a contract that comes with it.

I'm sure T-Mobile will push Value Plans hard in 2013. With the announcement of Apple products (iPhone) coming to magenta, TMO isn't looking for a Sprint-like deal so customers will have to buy full price.
