Default Tmobile BB Data Plans
I need help guys. I am going to purchase a blackberry from tmobile soon and I need the data plan because I want BBM and basically all the features that the blackberries offer. So i'm looking online for the prices and different types of data plans for blackberries. I see different prices everywhere. I have unlimited texts already so I dont want the unlimited text data plan. I just need an unlimited web data plan for a Tmobile blackberry. You name it 34.99, 39.99 and 19.99 I have seen all these different prices.

Unlimited data is $30/month.
I have unlimited data/text msg with T-mobile and I pay $34.99 a month for it.
Your unlimited texting can't be lower than 4.99/month, so why not just get the combo package?

Its not too bad I guess. I get unlimited domestic messages through tmobile for the family plan so I dont want to change the whole plan. So I can just get the unlimited data plan right? and Its 29.99? I know not everyone pays the same price but I have a buddy who pays 19.99 but I dont know what data plan that is.

You're confusing BB data plans from the new plans with those of grandfathered plans.

To the OP: It depends on your minute plan. Being that you already have T-Mobile, you are most likely on a grandfathered plan unless you changed your rate plan after Oct 25th. If you are indeed on a grandfathered plan, BB data will run you $24.99/month for your line. There are other questions to ask as well, such as how many lines you have. If you only have one line, your text package is probably costing you $14.99. If that's the case, it would make sense to go to the $34.99 plan which does BB data and text.

I have 2500 whenever minutes and unlimited texting for 3 lines. Im the only line with unlimited web in the line and it costs me 25 dollars, and if it would make a difference I did get the web plan after October. So could I get unlimited data plan for blackberry 9700 for 25 dollars (just as it is)?

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa.....wait a minute here.

When I left for Saudi Arabia in March '09, my data plan was $19.99. I canceled the data plan, because I was getting hit with hundreds of dollars of roaming data, until I got a Saudi number.

I'm due back in the US in March, and want to re-add the data plan. You saying its gonna now be $40???? WTF.

We have 3 lines, 700 minutes, family allowances, and 1 BB Webs ($24.99).

I wonder how much they are gonna ding me??? Hopefully $24.99?!?!?!?!

Can't get a straight answer from T-Mobile's website.

Ok Ok here's the deal...

OLD BB plan was 19.99 for data. That's GF now.
9.99 email-only plan was GF.

Then, we had the emergence of the txt/data 34.99 plan, and then 24.99 plan that had data/400 messages. Soon after, they only had data in on the 24.99 (no messages).

These plans that I mentioned are gone. Now you pay $30 for BB data on an EM plan, or $25 on an EM+ plan. Messaging is separate at $10 for unlimited.

The talk/text/web EM+ bundle is cheapest.

Once again, this is not correct. If you need data and text on one line only, it is $40. If you have a family text plan, web only is $30 on the new plans. The old grandfathered plans get web only for $24.99, and web & text for $34.99

As mentioned above, the $19.99 internet package has been grandfathered for some time.
