Default Tmobile Android 2.0 phone

Are there any plans to release an android 2.0 phone on t-mobile? I read that the droid may be coming, but I'm not sure of the validity of these rumors. Anyone on here hear anything? I am dying to get an android phone but all the current ones seem underpowered when compared to the droid.

The Motorola Sholes will be coming out for T-Mobile (still unknown when but speculated estimated time frame is December-Janaury) or you can get a Cliq right now and wait for Android 2.0 to be released for it as an update.

How sure are you about the Motorola Sholes? Isn't it for Verizon? Where the heck do they come up with these names anyways? Sholes? LOL

I can't think of me going from a Crackberry to an Android phone. I'm so used to the QWERTY keyboard on my Curve.

Armando175: The Sholes was in a T-Mobiles internal system as a "coming to T-Mobile" device. TMONEWS posted a pic on this. Which leads me to thinking the following, why would T-Mobile waste coding space and time to list something in their system if it weren't true?

True. I kept seeing that picture and it said Verizon on it. Is VZW getting it also? I'd like to play around with an Android device. Should I play with the myTouch3G? Thanks.

Armando175: if anything, play with the Motorola Cliq. I believe Verizon might be getting it as well but that itself has me a bit confused. I've never seen an Android device go CDMA and GSM.

Android is nice for a beta product. I would wait for 2.0 to drop, let it get kicked around for a while before investing in it. The Cliq is awesome, if it had UMA, the browser was better, & battery life was better (it's a power hog), then I'd consider a Cliq.
