Tmo Data Coverage issue in NE Ohio- FYI

So my brother and I have noticed some issues with data working in Mentor, Ohio which is an eastern suburb of Cleveland, Ohio about a month ago. Most of the time we cannot get a simple page to load on our browser (mine you, my brother is on an android phone, boo) So we called the lovely 611.... and of course we got the normal bs saying "oh well it must be your phone as its not the network in your area" After my brother changed out his phone, he still had the problem, so we called again, and the first people we spoke with were asking the most stupid questions (like they were reading scripts) all which ultimately came down to us saying the same thing 4 times over "ITS DATA RELATED", phone calls are fine, text messaging is fine. picture messaging, instant messaging, BBM, etc is NOT.

So finally we got up the ranks of support LAST NIGHT and they told us that basically EVERYONE USING DATA IN THE NORTHEAST OHIO AREA IS USING THE SAME CONNECTION and the engineers started to look into the problem just last week but have no clue what is wrong yet. When we asked why the last 3 people could not tell us that, they said because they don't have access to that system?

We finally got Tmo to credit our account for the data that we have NOT been able to use and will cont to get credit until the "issue" is fixed.

So if you are in NE Ohio and are having any data issues, PLEASE call TMOBILE and TELL them. They told us the more people that call, the more engineers look at it, the quicker the problem is fixed. Also you might be able to get some credit out of it to. Just play it cool and get around the BS with the first rep and you should be good!
