Default TMo Credit Line?

So I've read from a few members here that TMo has different credit lines that they are using for the 20 installment payment plan. Some people say they personally have a 500 or 600 or 1000 dollar credit line. How does TMo come up with the number? What criteria do they use?

The credit line is based on your credit. I have a $500 credit line. The credit line can go as high as $1200. So the better the credit the higher the credit line you have.

Lol you could get probably a lot more than 5 if your credit line is at $1200 and after you pay off your phone(s) (you can pay them off early also) your credit line will replenish and you could keep getting more phones.

The credit line is NOT new. They have established a "credit line" for each account for years. How do you think they approve you or reject you for post-paid plans?

They determine the number from your credit report. If you are in good standing, they give you a decent amount so that you may purchase your phone at subsidized pricing. Or, so that you may pick up your phone and make payments - similar to any other installment bill you may have.
